These two love birds have a very cute farm engagement story too! While making a pit stop at their dairy farm on Christmas Eve, Mike had lit up a field with a BIG, “Will you marry me?” made out of rebar and Christmas lights. How fantastic is that?!
The country rustic wedding theme was evident throughout the day. The bride and bridesmaids donned some killer cowboy boots while the groom and his party rocked some fancy looking blue jeans.
This wedding had a few firsts for me as a wedding photographer, first tattoo ring (very freaking cool), first dog ring bearer (yeeeesss!!!), and first bride ‘almost passing out at the alter.’ No lie. And hey, I don’t blame her. It was probably the 2nd hottest day of the summer, add in some nerves, and a heavy wedding dress and boom, pass out time. Thankfully, that didn’t happen! After some water and fans everything continued to move smoothly! One of the funnier moments was in the receiving line when their grandma started heckling them, “Well I never! In all my years, I’ve never had a bride almost pass out at the alter!” Everyone laughed as hugs and kisses were shared.
Molly and Paul were perfect too! They champed through the heat and absorbed some sunshine for their photos. These two both have a love of the outdoors, hence the beautiful estates of Allenberry Resort Inn and outdoor ceremony, small ring box made to look like a tree stump (with their initials carved into it), and a beautiful flower covered arbor. Paul also has a love of fishing (note Yellow Breeches Creek in the background). He makes a lot of his own flies too. They even incorporated a fly into his boutonniere! How cool is that?!
